Summary
This eight-day program combines a period of dietary preparation at the Ayaterra center with a gradual ceremonial schedule. Meals are kept simple and follow the retreat program, helping participants maintain a consistent routine before and during the ceremonies.
The published itinerary contains three ayahuasca ceremonies, together with introductory meetings, individual consultation with the shamans, breathwork, medicinal plant steam baths and post-ceremony group conversations. Several lighter days provide time to rest and reflect between sessions.
The program is intended for guests who prefer a longer stay and more preparation before the first ceremony. Ayaterra’s shamans, facilitators and on-site team provide guidance throughout the retreat, while each participant’s eligibility remains subject to the center’s screening process.
